Our Mission
The Otter Pond Protective Association serves to improve and preserve the quality of Otter Pond, through the promotion of proper water, shoreline and watershed practices, avoidance of invasive species and pollution, and collaboration on protective efforts; all to ensure the value, enjoyment and longevity of Otter Pond for current and future generations.
Who We Are
OPPA members include residents, landowners, seasonal visitors, and local businesses who share a commitment to the pond. Membership is open to anyone who cares about the future of Otter Pond. People and businesses join not only to support protection of the pond, but to affirm their connection to this place, share their capabilities, and have a voice in its future.
OPPA is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Dues and donations help fund water testing, conservation efforts, and community engagement. Contributions may qualify as tax deductible.
